this work Focuses on a particular moment in time and displays that moment frozen in an object for the rest of time. To explore this idea, I decided to focus on the moments of craftsmanship in the works.
The hands become a connection between physical and phycological during the making process leading to objects that hold significance to the maker and user. By creating works that embodied the handmade marks of the maker I was able to hold and portray that moment of time where the creator connects with the objects that they are making.
Through this connection, I can transport the user back to the specific moment that I created and broke these objects.
Through creating marks in my designs, I am able to imprint a part of the making process and myself on these designs for the rest of time. These marks connect myself and the moment of creation to the work and user.
